Duties: - Under appropriate direction/guidance, create CONOPs documents and server inventory/status spreadsheets from information presented via raw data, daily meetings, and personal data gathering interviews. - Under appropriate direction/guidance, interface and support project activities in the area of MS Excel 2007, MS Word 2007, MS PowerPoint 2007, MS Visio 2010, and MS Project 2007 expertise. - Under appropriate direction/guidance, assist in management of team SharePoint task list to track progress of data updates and status of the project. Deliverables: CONOP documents, policy documents, flowchart diagrams, training decks, SharePoint site. Education: Bachelor's degree is preferred, but comparable accomplishments (at least 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree) will be considered. Required Skills: - At least 5 years of current writing experience in the IT field with a basic understanding of servers and data centers. - Data entry into MS Excel 2007, MS Word 2007, MS Project 2010, and MS SharePoint 2003. - Advanced skill in manipulating and developing reports within MS Excel 2007, MS Word 2007, MS SharePoint 2003, and MS Visio 2010. - Experience converting data to readable formats in MS Word 2007, MS Excel 2007, MS PowerPoint 2007, MS Visio 2010, MS SharePoint 2003, and MS Project 2010. - Able to organize and report on various data types and create spreadsheets, RAG charts, Gantt charts, and pivot tables. - Possesses a great attention to detail and highly accurate in data entry. - Possesses effective time management skills. - Solid written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to document and track necessary data from meetings and raw stores into meaningful forms. - Ability to operate under minimum supervision where appropriate and understand when to escalate issues to management. - Work well in a team environment. - Interact with various levels of staff and management. - Successful applicants will be asked to show proof that they are legally eligible to work in the United States. Desired Skills: - Advanced experience developing and understanding MS Excel 2007 formulas. - Advanced experience with SharePoint page layout, updates. - Experience developing operational documents (such as CONOPS). - Experience developing technical documents (such as requirements). - Experience interviewing people for data gathering. - Experience with IT organizations and data center moves. - Experience with decommissioning data centers. - Providing instruction on Microsoft Suite applications. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
