Job Description Sr. Project manager (Database Upgrades, Oracle 11g, SQL 2008) Charlotte, NC Sr. Project manager (Database Upgrades, Oracle 11g, SQL 2008) 18 months Charlotte, NC (or) Phoenix, AZ (or) San Francisco, CA (or) Minneapolis, MN (or) Richmond, VA (or) Des Moines, IA Seasoned PM with 7+ years experience Solid knowledge of PM methodologies Strong planning skills (equates to strong project plans) Solid experience contributing and/or creating project artifacts PDD/SOW/BRD/Project Plan/FSD/Test Plans and Scripts Oracle and SQL database version upgrades experience: Experience driving all aspects of database version upgrades: Upgrading to Oracle version 11g2 Upgrading to SQL version 2008R2 Experience upgrading very large volume of applications Experience upgrading databases in shared server environments Experience managing OS upgrades (Solaris to Linux) as part of database version upgrade Experience driving the various levels/areas of testing required for database version upgrades. Experience sizing cost of application migrations.
