Position: SharePoint Developer Location: Palo Alto, CA Duration: 18 Months Job Description: · Highly experienced consultant in SharePoint and Fast Search; with excellent skills and knowledge in SharePoint development, · Fast Search Engine implementation & administration background. · Lead, design, and implement multi-tier portal solutions for unique and challenging enterprise business problems · Design and implement architecture using various technologies such as SharePoint Server, Windows SharePoint Services, and Windows SharePoint Foundations · Install, Configure, and Customize SharePoint farms and solutions · Collaborate with team members to identify, research, and evaluate new technologies · Proactively identify business needs and propose technology solutions · Create portal documentation including requirements, design, and user manuals · Communicate with and influence non-technical staff including managers · Mentor existing developer staff · Implement and manage the enterprise search function (internal) Skills & Experience: · Strong experience on SharePoint (particular focus on Sharepoint Architecture, with emphasis on workflow and configuration) · Strong experience on .Net · Content Management Experience · Website creation experience from scratch to implementation · Should be able to give demo on the SharePoint websites created · Development experience · Excellent communication skills a must · Hands-on with Visual Studio 2010 · Hands-on with SharePoint Enterprise Custom Development · Build/Debug/Troubleshoot/Deploy code · Strong understanding of the SharePoint 2010 object model · Experience with work flows · Experience developing custom web parts, features, etc. · Documentum experience a plus · Experience with FAST*s Query Language (FQL)/FAST Query API (C#) · Strong experience with XML or XSLT · Strong experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript for Web page layout/appearance/functionality · Experience with T-SQL · Experience with data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL) · Experience with FAST*s Content API (C#) · Experience with FAST Administration/ configuration/customization · Experience as a web developer working with programming C#.NET and ASP.NET and/or scripting languages for software development. · Knowledge of core Web Development technologies (.Net C#, CSS, HTML/XHTML, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, jQuery, REST-based APIs, etc.) · Experience using Web Services (e.g. SOAP, REST, XML) to deliver functional applications. · Strong in MS SQL server 2008 & 2005 (Should be able to write Stored Procedure and function) Please send me resume at ritesh.sharma@ramyinfotech.com or asmita.mishra@ramyinfotech.com
