Our major pharmaceutical direct client is looking for Contract Operations Analyst in Thousand Oaks, CA.   Job Description The primary role of the Contract Operations Analyst will be to assist in purchase order (PO) generation and execution, maintenance of contracts database, invoice reconciliation, contract milestone tracking, and the development, maintenance and distribution of ad hoc reports.   Responsibilities include   ·         Working with contract owners and off-site suppliers to troubleshoot contract and/or invoice issues as they arise. ·         The individual in this role will use various systems to achieve job requirements (e.g. Excel, SharePoint, eFinity). Basic Qualifications   • Bachelor's degree (required) in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Economics (preferred) • Minimum of 1 year experience in contract management • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel), SAP, SharePoint • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects • Excellent communication skills • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills • Ability to complete projects timely and accurately critical • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment Preferred Qualifications:   Demonstrated skills in effective verbal and written communications including presentations, personal organization, business process mapping, managing change in a team environment and analytical problem solving. Experience in biotech/pharma industry a plus Candidate must be able to work effectively in a matrix environment and communicate clearly with all levels of the organization. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the concepts of clinical research and drug development.
