Job Description: Adecco Staffing has a great opportunity for you! We have partnered with one of the nation's top pediatric facilities in Wisconsin to help fill their current need for Sign Language Interpreters. As a Sign Language Interpreter you will provide sign language services for patients to help them communicate with doctors, nurses and other medical staff. A sign language interpreter is responsible for helping deaf or hearing impaired individuals understand what is being said in a medical setting. An interpreter must understand the subject matter so he or she can accurately interpret what is being spoken into sign language. The main job duty of a sign language interpreter is to translate the spoken word into sign language. Carrying out this main duty requires listening, sign language and communication skills. Required: State of WI License and previous experience as an American Sign Language Interpreter in a medical setting. This is a part time position, the majority of your appointments would be between 9am-6 pm. Looking for someone who is available for up to 20 hrs a week during those hours. Flexibility to work nights and or weekends also helpful, but not required. Years of Experience Required: At Least 3 Years Expected Travel Time: None Keywords: Medical
