This is a 3 month temporary role for a Data Analyst with a Kforce Weehawken, New Jersey client. Role Summary: Analyze and review new account and corporate documentation to ensure that documents provided adhere to our client and external KYC (Know Your Client) as well as AML (Anti-Money Laundering) policies, procedures, and regulations Primary Responsibilities: Documentation Be responsible for reviewing new account documentation within benchmarked period Work closely with Legal and Compliance Teams to resolve AML, Cross Border, or any other issues that occur during the account opening process Liaise with branch management teams and Legal to ensure appropriate account opening and additions of products to existing accounts for cross border resident clients Modify, update, and distribute policies (maintenance of the required document checklist, etc.) and communicate constantly by delivering updated procedures to branches and home office Devise and facilitate training relating to account documentation policies and procedures for branches Research corporate laws of different countries to ensure all required documentation is received Recommend account opening related enhancements to the systems, policies, and procedures, and implement accordingly Cross Border Licensing Work closely with Cross Border Team to ensure that all accounts are properly operated according to the Rules of the Road Check reporting to ensure that all Financial Advisors have taken the country specific cross border modules that apply to the account they are opening The successful Data Analyst applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): Excellent communication skills; oral and written with ability to communicate and educate effectively Ability to 'think outside of the box' and solve problems Ability to work well independently and in a group setting Excellent organizational skills Team oriented Strong computer skills (all Microsoft products) College education with a BS/BA 3 years or more of financial services work experience, preferably with a background in finance Spanish fluency MS Excel skill
