Candidate must have in-depth knowledge of BusinessObject XI R3.1 and 4 . 0 on AIX. Must have excellent knowledge of the BusinessObjects architecture, security, and user/group/folder administration. Candidate should have strong knowledge of CMS clustering, high-availability, fault-tolerance, BusinessObjects process management and auditing. Java programming with the BusinessObjects SDK is required for business process management and system maintenance . Candidate should have strong knowledge of Web Intelligence reporting, Crystal Reports, and Universe design. BusinessObjects application knowledge such as Central Management Console, InfoView, Import Wizard, Upgrade Management Tool and Business Views a must. The candidate must a have strong ability to identify performance/tuning issues and work independently to perform root cause analysis of issues and formulate resolutions using the BusinessObjects log files, Wireshark, Fiddler, and if applicable, with the assistance of the DBA and OS groups. These analysis and tuning procedures encompass BusinessObjects processes and reports. Knowledge of ETL processes and Data Warehouse concepts/implementations, Oracle SQL, and AIX shell  scripting a plus . • 5+ years of Business Objects with 3+ on AIX platform, • At least 5 years of experience in Business Objects Server components installation, applying fixes/service packs , performance tuning and monitoring on AIX. • Experience in working within AIX a must. • Participate in an on-call rotation for 24x7 support. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. • Must be able to document/update procedures on an on-going basis. • Participate in disaster recovery events . • Should be a team player, willing to share knowledge & experience with other team members Education: • BA/BS Degree from accredited college/university.
