Job Description: The Area Optimization Manager helps drive continuous improvement throughout the organization. Perform site diagnostics to identify gaps to best-in-class performance Partner with site leadership to facilitate and implement tools within manufacturing operations Identify best practices and actively guide site managers to accept and implement change Perform implementation status reviews with site managers and leaders Define area optimization milestones and impacts Identify improvement opportunities (ie, cycle time, personnel adjustments, etc) Support area optimization within diagnosed sites Build and maintain the foundation for continuous improvement Assume the role of consultant, participant and/or lead on Kaizan events. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (master's a plus). Minimum of 8 years' experience in operations management or business leadership in a technical manufacturing environment Experience with change management techniques Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization Extensive experience with Kaizen/5s/Lean Operating Systems Black belt or green belt certification preferred.
