Kforce is assisting a client in Plantation, Florida that is looking for a mid to senior-level .NET Developer to support their customer-centric website and internal customer administration tools. The selected candidate must have extensive experience with high-traffic web applications software / business development life cycle and must possess skills specializing in classic ASP, Microsoft n-tier architecture, design patterns, and OOP Methodologies (COM, .NET 4.0, ASP.NET, XML, and N-Tier using C# with an emphasis on MVC), SQL Server, user interface, software tools, enterprise architecture, and user support. Skills related to reports, third-party software integration, troubleshooting, and mentoring are pluses. This employee will assist the Team transition from their classic ASP to the .NET framework. Job Duties: Work with Solutions Architects and IT Managers to turn business requirements into developed solutions Take direction from Senior Staff Program classic ASP and assist the team in transitioning to a C# environment using Object-Oriented methodologies in .NET Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues arising from everything from SSIS jobs to eCommerce issues Analyze existing code and be able to add and enhance as necessary The successful .NET Developer applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): 5+ years of experience in developing Internet / Intranet high-volume customer-facing web solutions using a customer portal approach .NET 2.0 onward (3.5 is our current environment), ASP.NET, MVC, C#, HTML, CSS, and XML skills SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2008 - experienced and versed in creating sophisticated SQL Server Databases to quickly handle complex queries (T-SQL, DTS, triggers, stored procedures, functions, and optimization), .NET data access components, and SQL Server Integration Services
