Location – District of Columbia Compensation - Salary + benefits U.S. Citizenship Required/Must be Cleared or Clearable *ICE or DHS Clearances Preferred, DoD TS or Secret also helpful Responsibilities: Lead the configuration of Microsoft SharePoint 2010 for a law-enforcement application that includes both structured and unstructured content Design and Implement site collection strategies to optimize SharePoint for 7,000 concurrent users Design and Implement strategies to scale and tune SharePoint 2010 for up to 7,000 concurrent users Work with users in an Agile development approach to understand requirements, then elicit feedback and refine solution through demonstrations Interact with technical Subject Matter Experts to resolve technical issues Present the solution at formal and informal design reviews, and document the design according to the Government’s system lifecycle methodology Manage the tasking of 2-3 software engineers Required Experience: 6+ years of SharePoint experience including , configuration, installation and optimization of SharePoint site collections Experience in designing and implementing SharePoint workflows Experience with SQL Server design and implementation Optimizing SharePoint for high performance and high scalability Experience in designing, developing, and testing SharePoint web parts Desired Knowledge and Experience: Experience with InfoPath forms technology Experience with Case Management Systems Experience with SharePoint Business Connectivity Services Microsoft Certifications in SharePoint and SQL Server Good communication skills (writing and presenting) Team leadership skills including task planning, assignment and management About Us: Kore Federal is an ISO 9001-2008 certified information technology solutions firm providing skilled consultants and engineers to solve complex technical problems for the United States Federal Government focusing primarily on critical national defense programs for Homeland Security, the intelligence community, and the Department of Defense.
