Our client is currently seeking an experienced J2EE Consultant for a 6 Months CTH position in Atlanta GA. Role: Senior J2EE Consultant Job Description: The Sr. Developer has proficient knowledge of multiple programming languages along with the ability to take business requirements and develop the total technical design for an entire application to be run in production. The Sr. Developer has the ability to lay out requirements for the project team. Ability to guide and direct work on multiple projects and ensure proper usage as part of the design efforts in building a system to be put into production. Thorough understanding of life cycle development through production implementation and post implementation. The Sr. Developer has the ability to present at the various architecture review boards. Display strategic view of applications and how they fit into the whole retail space. Job Responsibilities: · Define, plan and implement solutions on assigned moderately complex projects. · Take business requirements and develop the total technical design on moderately complex projects and ensure proper usage as part of the design efforts in building a system to be put into production. · Conduct appropriate test reviews for assigned projects and present to architecture review boards as necessary. · Promote and follow the established processes, policies, standards and procedures to assure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies and standards. · Provide technical direction to associate developers, developers and contractors. Required Skills: · Min. 4 years of experience in working with Java, J2EE. · Min.2 years of experience working in web technologies · Experience working on WebSphere Commerce Server is a MUST and on Endeca is highly desirable · Experience in Retail industry is a plus. · Understand business, functional and technical requirements of complex e-commerce architecture and develop production quality code utilizing WebSphere Commerce, Endeca and J2EE technologies. · BS Computer Science or related field.
