Analyzes functional problems and determines techniques and requirements most feasible for processing the data. Prepares definition of functional problems and makes recommendations for equipment and/ or software to deliver solutions. Develops analytical reports or other products. Experience in development of project documentation, use case documentation, test case / test script documentation and execution, training materials, requirements gathering including downstream and upstream interface requirements and adhering to a project management methodology is a must Responsible for working with business Subject Matter experts to define business requirements. Responsible for setting and driving requirements meetings, documenting requirements, use cases, test cases/scripts; tracking requirements, and handing off documentation to the development staff, supporting User Acceptance Testing, supporting business users in system rollout preparation. Define, discuss and assist technical development team with understanding business requirements and impact to existing systems and business processes and procedures. Position requires that the resource is able to work with limited supervision, analyze business requirements and recommend systematic solutions within the Workers Comp environment SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum 6 years of business analysis experience, including business process modeling, application design and analysis Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must have a fundamental understanding of object oriented software development, software development methodologies such as waterfall, agile Must possess fundamental knowledge of technical development protocols including Java, HTML, SQL, XML, Rational Suite Must have a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office software products (including all Microsoft tools, Rational tools, Quality Center).
