Artworker required for a Fixed Term Contract, at various sites around Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. The purpose of the Artworkers role is to create or amend artwork files in line with client brand guidelines or supplied design directions, and to ensure their integrity for final print production. Primary function of this role is to amend existing artwork files or to take templates or designs created by the graphic designers and turn them into workable artwork files for final production (print) methods. The Artworker will liaise with Designers / Account Managers and Workflow Controllers on appropriate aspects of the artwork production Liaising confidently with external suppliers and printers if applicable The Artworker will advise others on the most cost-effective and suitable production processes The Artworker will ensure that cutter guides, trapping, and separations of files are all set to the correct specifications Ensuring relevant creative support and conceptual designers are fully informed at all stages of the project, especially where a deadline is likely to be missed Ensuring all jobs are proof-read, and checking printers' proofs Being aware of budgets and deadlines for jobs, and informing the Pre-Press Department Manager of issues that may affect the artwork completion deadline Keywords: Secretarial
