Quantity Surveyor � PSA Schedule of Rates Our client is a well known contractor working on a maintenance frame work contract based near Middlesborough. They are currently searching for a freelance quantity surveyor to join their commercial team. The ideal candidate will have maintenance experience and exposure to mechanical and electrical works. Knowledge of PSA schedule of rates is essential. Rates are �15.00 to �18.00 per hour. This is an immediate start with a contract length of 6-8 months. ROLE � Control tendering and order award � Review contractual details and risk identification � Identification of and valuation of variations � Produce cash flow and financial project performance reports � Work closely with and support the project management teams � Control of sub contractor accounts � Preparation and agreement of interim valuations and final accounts with client CANDIDATE � Experience in a similar working environment � Working knowledge of PSA Schedule of Rates � Professional manner � Good team player � Excellent communication skills � Accurate and methodical approach � Able to prioritise, plan and work to tight deadlines
