Projects excellent command of business knowledge and has the ability to solicit input from internal and external sources. Responsible for small-to-medium scale projects and delivers presentations with minimal supervision. Is recognized as a positive leader and frequently provides feedback and strategic recommendations to management. Affects change within sphere of influence and leads development of innovative improvements. Implements complex medium- to large-scale projects and has expertise in project management software/process. May be responsible for daily operations during shift by setting priorities and assigning or adjusting workloads. Role should include as its primary duty either: (a) the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. (b) Design work (Design means a tailored design in order to meet a specific client request) or (c) Programming (Programming means writing original programs using computer code that is intended for use on a wide scale basis) This position should typically be used for an advanced or lead level resource. Specialties Cisco No 1 Expert 9-10 Currently Using Additional Skills: The candidate must be able to demonstrate 3 to 5 years of strong technical experience and success in coordinating the implementation and operation of network architecture solutions, preferably within financial services industries, and across multiple countries. Experience managing large scale enterprise Voice and Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions Networking knowledge (i.e. routers and switches) and a strong understanding of VoIP products is required (i.e. various types of IP based voice products Cisco CUCM, AVAYA Communications Manager 4.x and higher, as well as legacy voice PBX vendors/products) Strong knowledge and experience supporting related voice technologies such as Voice Mail, (Cisco Unity & AYAVA Modular Messaging), Voice Recording, Contact Centre, IP Network, Network Appliance, Video and Transport technologies (Switched Voice, IP, SIP etc) Applicant must have excellent analytical skills in voice fault investigation and resolution methodology Ability to liaise with 3rd parties and provide representation on behalf of the bank A strong understanding of dial plan schemes, trunking, transmissions and reporting of trunking and capacity metrics are a must. Extensive knowledge in VoIP transport such as, H.323, SIP, Inter Cluster Trunking, Call Admission and Control mechanisms, centralization of call processing and Trunking services and network policy enforcement (i.e. QoS) Experience with Cisco IOS based media gateway devices for ISDN PRI connections, as well as an understanding of advanced IP to IP gateway functionality Understand and display knowledge in VoIP network sizing, EVPN networks and COS traffic classifications Experience of voice and data network company transport such as; T1/E1, IP using Frame and private line networks. Have a working knowledge of Video H.261 protocols and equipment, IPv4 addressing and router components and functionality Familiarity with next generation technologies such as Unified Communications, Session Border Controller (SBC), Cisco CUBE, Session Management, IMS concepts etc Certifications in Voice Technologies and Cisco CCNP Voice certifications are strongly preferred Candidate must be able to operate in a team environment and have the ability to establish relationships at all levels The candidate Engineer will be part of a split shift roster that provides on-site Tier III coverage for the COMPANY Global Voice infrastructure that covers the hours between 0700 to 2000 EST, Monday to Friday. The Engineer will be part of an on-call rotation.
