CSV to HTML Client Display (MySQL, PHP, HTML, CSS) - MySQL CSS HTML PHP
We currently have a working application that populates a CSV file from a remote FTP directory into our local web based MySQL database. Customers can log into this system to query daily Propane Tank levels and other populated Temperature readings based on configuration. There are two phases to this job. Phase one is to fix and address two problems we are experiencing with our current application. The second phase is to include a new data output for meter readings that are now being populated in the CSV file for certain customers. Phase 1 - We need someone to fix a few issues with our current system: 1.) We need the S/N table to accept alpha and numeric and display/sort and behave correctly on the site. Currently if a alpha character is used, the Tank's serial number does not display on the website. Not sure is this is a php or mysql issue. 2.) There is a 24 hour based time stamp in the CSV file when the record data was captured. This is currently displaying on the website in a 12 hour format, with no AM or PM clarification. We would want that added or have the time displayed in 24 hours. Again, not sure if this is a php issue, or if the data is getting manipulated in the database to a 12 hour equivalent. Phase 2 - we need additional functionality for meter reading data to be integrated into existing website . The purpose: To give daily and ranged usage of their propane. We have meters installed on propane takes that interface with a transmitter that gives us daily metered readings. It is our goal that the customer can log into our website and see what their usage is remotely. I can see daily usage as well as date ranged usage being useful to the customers. The formula for gallons used for a period of time is the (ending meter - beginning meter = 100 cubic feet of vapor propane) / .364 to calculate gallons. The tables are currently getting purged with a daily cron job. I would like to keep this retention for our current LP records to 60 days, but be able to have a longer retention for meter readings. A 180 day minimum retention would be great. I would like to define Daily Usage as the gallons used between to two most current readings. Those gallons should be displayed along with the date range used to calculate that usage. Secondly, I would like a selectable calendar to pick a from and to range to calculate their usage based on that range. This will be used if a customer wants to know what he used in a month's time, for example. The nature of this data upload is inconsistent, so daily uploads will not always occur, as a result, the customer would need to be aware what days are available when selecting their data range. On the calendar, I would like to have only the dates that contain data to be able to be selected for the range. Dates that do not have data should be greyed out and not selectable. As with our other displays of temps and gallons on hand, the data is driven by the Serial Number of the tank. Lastly, I would not want "Daily Usage" or "Usage by date Range" to be displayed is the customer does not have that kind of data in the CSV file. Transmitter types are defined in the CSV file, see below: The TX_App field (Column AB) tells you what type of transmitter each line is associated with. TX_App 0 = Tank 1 = Temp 4 = Switch Closure 7 = Cellular Tank Monitor (Treat the same as a 0) 9 = Meter Transmitter Desired Skills: MySQL CSS HTML PHP Keywords: Web Programming, MySQL, PHP, HTML, CSS
