You will develop detailed cost estimates and typical estimate models; perform cost analysis and trending for estimates; benchmark with other utilities, and update the estimating catalog and process based on estimating performance.The requirements for this position include:?Bachelor?s degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or a related field is required ?Related Experience ? a minimum combination of work-related experience, on-the-job training, and/or vocational training is desired. Experience should be consistent with the specific requirements of Electronic Engineer and progressively more technical in nature. Bachelor?s degrees can be substituted for a portion of the experience requirements. 5-7 years previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is requiredGeneral Skills Requirements:?Experience in the design and or construction of High Voltage, Substations, Lines, or Communication & Control projects.?Ability to read and understand system project requirements diagrams (PRDs), control project diagrams, project authorization requests (PARs), estimate requests (ERs), and engineering sketches is highly desirable.?Knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, and practices relating to High Voltage, Substation, Line, and Communication & Control projects sufficient to translate engineering requirements for BPA and customer facilities into conceptual designs and the cost estimation thereof. ?Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Software (MS Project, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows Explorer); (MS Office 2010 proficiency required).?Proven ability to work under pressure in constantly changing and demanding environments; resource must demonstrate flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity?The ability to work well both independently and with varying workgroups to elicit and foster a positive and supportive work environment?Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and competing needs concurrently under constricted deadlines We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
