We have 3 openings Title: Kronos with Peoplesoft Technical Title: Kronos with Peoplesoft Functional Title: Kronos Admin with Peoplesoft (windows administrators who have managed Kronos installation) Location: Seattle, WA Duration: long-term JD: The HRIS Team is looking for a HRIS Software Support Engineer who will act as first level support for all incoming production software application issues dealing with HR systems, including Kronos and Peoplesoft as well as internally developed applications. Your solutions will impact our customers directly! This job requires you to constantly hit the ground running and your ability to learn quickly and work on disparate and overlapping tasks will define your success. High Impact production issues often require coordination between multiple Development, Operations and IT Support groups, so you get to experience a breadth of impact with various groups. Primary responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing production software issues, developing monitoring solutions, performing software maintenance and configuration, implementing the fix for internally developed code, performing SQL queries, updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges. Responsibilities also include working alongside development, updating/enhancing our current software, automation of support processes and documentation of our systems. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, able to juggle multiple tasks at once, able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure. You must be able to identify problems before they happen and implement solutions that detect and prevent outages. You must be able to accurately prioritize projects, make sound judgments, work to improve the customer experience, and get the right things done. Primary Responsibilities: • This candidate will be primarily responsible for implementing & supporting the Kronos Application System as well as providing production support for other HRIS systems. • Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Kronos experience in an Administration role and play a major role in all Implementation Projects, Upgrades, and Ongoing Support. • The responsibilities include but not limited to: Troubleshooting, Application Administration, Security, Maintenance, Project Management, Procedural documenting as well as providing Cross-Training to team members. • This position will require excellent verbal and written communication with ability to work individually or cooperatively as part of a team Essential Functions: • Expert knowledge in support and maintenance of the Kronos Workforce Central 6.1/6.2 version which includes any or all of Kronos Workforce Timekeeping, Time and Attendance, Accruals, Event Manager, WIM, Workforce Scheduler with Optimization, Payroll Allocation, and WDM • Install, configure, debug, analytically troubleshoot the system and determine process improvements. • Knowledge of WDM which includes: Configuring device, device groups, communication, and troubleshooting device terminals. • Experience with multiple web server JVM Instances using Vertical Scale architecture, ideally with Windows server administration • Ensure documental procedures are always in compliance and up to date (i.e. application procedures, support procedures, and disaster recovery procedures). Preferred Expertise: • Configuration experience of Kronos WIM Interfaces based on business requirements and communicating interfaces between HR/Payroll (Oracle) and Kronos. • Requirements gathering, business analysis, system configuration, design, testing, and support. • Understanding pay policy configurations to include: Pay Rules, Work Rules, Accruals, Scheduling, etc. • Strong system background and experience with PeopleSoft, Oracle, Linux tools.
