A European media group with head offices in Central London is urgently recruiting for a tenacious Credit Controller with experience of handling aged debt to join their busy finance team on a 12 month contract basis (maternity cover). Duties: - sole maintenance of the debtors ledger - calling to chase outstanding and overdue debt - reducing DSO levels and aged debt - recording incoming payments and updating call lists - building relationships with key clients to ensure prompt payment - producing monthly reports This role will be suited to experienced credit controllers who have a polite yet tenacious approach to credit control - there will be a mixture of aged debt and regular collections and you will be encouraged to be proactive both in terms of pre-empting problems and improving processes and procedures as you see fit.
