The WebSphere Message Broker in Orangeburg, New York will be responsible for building SOA-based middleware applications using IBM's WebSphere suite of products: WebSphere Message Broker, DataPower, WebSphere Service Registry and Repository, WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Application Server for the Provisioning Systems team. This person will be required to design and build provisioning and customer self-care solutions that are reusable, quick to market, efficient, highly available and scalable. Specific Requirements (required unless noted otherwise): 8+ years experience in software design and development, most in Unix-based environments At least 3-4 years experience in a WebSphere Message Broker (V6 or above preferred) environment Design and development experience using WebSphere Message Broker is a must and configuration is a plus Extensive experience implementing complex Message Flows and Message Sets and using integration patterns WebSphere MQ 6.0/7.0 working knowledge At least 5 years experience in architecting, designing and implementing SOA, Java EE, and Web Services integration solutions using IBM WebSphere products Demonstrate strong design and programming skills using the following technologies: Java/Java EE (JDBC, JMS/MQ, JNDI, etc), XML, XSLT, and PL/SQL in Unix environments Experience with IBM DataPower is strongly preferred; configuration, installation, and administration experience with DataPower would be a plus Experience with Oracle database 11g Experience with CA Wily Introscope or other application performance monitoring tools is a plus Ability to participate in the evaluation, recommendation, and selection of hardware and software solutions Critical thinking, decision-making and leadership aptitudes Strong analytical and good inter-personal skills Good organizational and problem solving abilities Good knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, standards and procedures for high quality software development Experience with Agile processes is a plus
