We are the leading IT outsourcing company seeking a Senior Infrastructure Analyst on the team supporting Servers and storage management for a multi-site organization. OVERVIEW: Technical Support (80%) Provide expert level support for all technical issues in Active Directory and Microsoft Windows environment supporting over 80 Servers and 250+ users. Provide technical guidance and expert level support for patch management, server/data center management, MS MOM 2005, SMS 2003, Anti-Virus management, backups and Virtualization. Perform Infrastructure configuration management activities, and follow change management procedures for implementing any changes to the production environment. Lead initiatives to consolidate, upgrade and implement equipment and/or implement business relocations. Operational Support (20%) Help create and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency of IT operations, identify areas for improvement and suggest technical, process and organizational changes. Will recommend and implement capacity increases, serve as the technical escalation for results of preventative maintenance routines and will supervise preventative maintenance. Effectively communicate resolutions to IT staff and users ensuring incidents are resolved and end user communication is complete. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Information technology or relevant field Experience and ability to write, review and test of Disaster Recovery, Information Security, Technical Documentation Industry Certifications in Microsoft 5+ years of experience in IT Operations in an enterprise level environment providing Tier 1-2 expert level support Microsoft Active Directory, Windows 2003, IIS server, SMS 2003, MOM 2005, Symantec NetBackup and Backuo Exec, VMware 3.1, HP RDP EMC SAN, SAN Switches, Citrix, Blade technology, SQL 2005, Exchange 200, Scripting, TripWire-Preferred Willingness to be part of on-call rotation Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Ability to apply the principals of analytical and logical thinking to define problems, interpret data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions *CompuCom supports Employment Equity and Diversity*
