Java: Integrate with MS Active Directory (Spring LDAP) - Active Directory Java
Requirement =========== I need a developer to create a sample, working web-based Java application to integrate with MS Active Directory. The application should use the Spring LDAP API for interfacing to MS Active Directory. The app should run in a windows service (that is running as a Domain User). When accessed, the web application should show a single webpage that shows the following information: 1) The windows username that the user used to log into the workstation. 2) The Active Directory groups that the windows user belongs to. 3) The other users in those AD groups. Details ======= I believe that if the app is running as a windows service logged in as a domain user, that the app does not need to be given the location of the AD server. If that is incorrect, then make use of a property file to configure location of Active Directory server and other configs. Software Versions ================= - Java 5 and above Deliverables: ============== 1. Source code The code should be developed in a professional manner and well-documented. We are professional Java developers with 15 years of experience. Our team will peer review the code for completeness and quality. ------------------------------------------ Added 26 JUL 2012, 10:46 AM EDT Just to be clear, the requirements are that the user does not need to login, but instead is logged into the web app automatically via single sign on using something like NTLM (I'm not a developer so I'm not sure if that terminology is correct). Also, ideally the deliverable (aside from the source code) is a war that can run in Tomcat. Desired Skills: Active Directory Java Keywords: Software Application, Active, Java, Directory
