JOB TITLE: Solution Architect (Active Directory) TERM: Immediate start to November 30th, 2012 – Highly likely to extend. LOCATION: Calgary, AB Project Description:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Support of Windows XP will end in April 2014 and the objective of the Windows 7 project is to move all CLIENT’s Windows 7 desktops from XP to Windows 7 by end of December 2013. The focus of this project is to build a new IT Infrastructure to support the Windows 7 workstations. Project Deliverables: Build New Infrastructure and environments to support an Office 2010 and Windows 7 rollout • Active Directory Migration • Architectural design documents and support documents Job Responsibilities: Our client requires the services of a Senior Enterprise Infrastructure Analyst with strong AD knowledge to design and implement as dictated by the project objectives defined by the client. This individual will be responsible for technical deliverables for the assigned project(s). This includes, but is not limited to: • Design and implement IT Infrastructure including but not limited to: - HP Blade Chassis and servers - EMC Storage - Active Directory Migration - Quest AD Migration Tools - System Center Configuration Manager 2007/2012 - VMware vSphere v5.0 - Microsoft Group Policy - Microsoft Active Directory Design - Microsoft PKI infrastructure - Citrix XenApp - Infrastructure Security - Exchange Server Migration - VDI Enhancements - Working Network Infrastructure knowledge • Lead various technical personnel to complete the design and construction • Documentation - Provide ongoing project documentation as required by the project team leads and managers.?? • Status reports • Detailed and documented knowledge transfer to designated client’s staff person(s) • Other duties as required Skills Required IT Infrastructure Generalist - as required various infrastructure elements including Active Directory Design and Migration, Group policy, VMware, Logon Scripting, Schema extensions, Windows 7 Desktop Management, Citrix (XenApp 6.5), System Center Configuration Manager, Quest Exchange and & AD migration tool, security etc. Skills-Recommended Additional skillsets that would assist the candidate include – Network Infrastructure, VPN, VDI Enhancements, EMC / HP EVA Storage knowledge, change to production requests (CPR), HP Blade Server infrastructure, Cisco Infrastructure, McAfee Anti-Virus.
