The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years experience in supporting Unix and Linux Systems in production environments. Candidates must have impeccable written and verbal communication skills and have a minimum of 4 years experience with direct customer support. Minimum Requirements: (Not Editable) • Act as a Subject Matter Expert / Tier III in Unix technologies, including mentoring Unix Systems Administrators, final technical escalation point for customer issues, and designing the Unix infrastructure including automation, capacity, performance, and planning • Drive documentation of customer environments, processes, technical training, and support procedures • Drive efficient and effective resolution of customer issues • Responsible for developing best practices and procedures for the installation, configuration and support of Unix managed services, including Solaris, AIX, and Red Hat Linux • Responsible for performing the installation, configuration and support of Solaris • Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage of critical customer and internal systems • Working knowledge of monitoring and management infrastructures
