The Company: Our Client manufactures and sells a broad range of medical supplies, devices, laboratory equipment and diagnostic products. They are a global medical technology company that serves healthcare institutions, life science researchers, clinical laboratories, industry and the general public. The Role: Employed as a Tool Repair Technician on a fixed 6 month contract. The primary responsibility of the Tool Repair Technician will be provide toolroom based support for the repair and maintenance of plastic injection mould tools and ancillary equipment to achieve company and departmental goals through maximising efficiencies and minimising downtime, in order to meet the demands of a high volume environment. The Person: Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following: Served an apprenticeship in City & Guilds Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent or be a Time-Served Technician / Toolmaker with the appropriate amount of experience. Knowledge of precision plastic injection mould repair techniques in an industrial environment would be an advantage and/or an engineering background with toolroom experience. The successful candidate will enjoy a salary of £20,000 to £24,000 (DOE) pro rata plus prospects and an employment package that you would expect from a company that values its employees.
