THE OPPORTUNITY: Interim Planning Analyst £45-50k This opportunity is with a well recognised utilities name, with excellent career progression within a company that's making significant strides towards the market leader position in their sector. Reporting to the Planning Manager who leads the business unit the role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to grow their knowledge of group reporting and the planning process. THE ROLE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: This role will see the successful individual take charge of the Planning and Control function within a high performing division of the business; you will be expected to become an effective business partner and be able to make commercial recommendations to senior stakeholders within the business. Your responsibilities will include: taking ownership of the Planning and Controlling function; taking ownership of the year forecasting process; change/process/project management; cash flow forecasting & updating in line with requirements; reviewing investment proposals; commercial analysis reporting to the CFO, Director of Financial Control as required; providing financial support to the M&A team. EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: Essential: ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified; SAP/Hyperion; strong analytical and report writing skills; senior stakeholder management experience; strong communication skills; desirable: utilities/energy sector experience.
