As a highly established and one of just two preferred suppliers to this client we have been asked to identify a contract Oracle Database Developer, this is to assist with a major Data warehouse upgrade project. This position sits within our clients risk area, so knowledge or understanding of Market Risk (VaR and Greeks) in particular is highly preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will be working with both IT Services and Production so good communication skills essential. Key • 5+ Years SQL Development • 5+ Years PL/SQL • UNIX (Solaris) • Oracle Data warehouse Experience Preferred • Agile (Preferred) • Support, Maintainance and Tuning Skills. This role will provide good exposure to all aspects of the project development lifecycle. Requirements establishment, technical specification, coding, testing, implementation and post-implementation intra-day application support.
