Future Technologies, Inc. www.ftiweb.com               Job Requirement Job Title: BI Architecture/Data Modeler Position Type: Contract Location: Northern NJ Duration: 8 months Industry: Financial Services Start Date: Immediate Job Description: The BI Architect / Data Modeler will be focused on supporting data modeling and design efforts on large initiatives across the enterprise.  U nderstanding the data needs and developing detailed data models to meet those needs will be the responsibility of the BI Architect/Data Modeler.  The individual will be responsible for the creation of conceptual and logical data models. The successful candidate must have excellent analytical skill and will be expected to gather, understand and interpret business requirements across a broad spectrum of subject areas in order to develop enterprise wide data models.  These data models will ultimately support a variety of information needs such as reporting, dashboards, and analytics. The role will also require the candidate to have significant experience in data management and data warehousing.   Duties: ·          Build conceptual and logical data models for various functional areas . ·          Will work closely with IT Business Analysts, business reps, other architects, and the Data Management team in understanding requirements ·          Create a design for data warehouse ·          Will be required to network across organizational boundaries and facilitate design and data modeling meetings   Must Have Experience With : ·          Strong conceptual, framework and architecture background ·          Experience with Business Objects, OBIEE, Essbase and OLAP technology ·          Must have worked with presentation layer ·          Strong Data Modeling experience   Interested Candidates should submit a completed resume and cover letter to: Gina Forte, gforte@ftiweb.com , Future Technologies Inc.
