Instead of referring to the jewelry as cubic zirconia, we will be referring to them as diamond replicas, diamond simulant etc. The website will be designed to look like a high end luxury store and we will be marketing our diamond simulants as ethical and environmentally friendly alternatives to expensive diamonds that are part of an industry that damages the environments through mining and harms populations (blood / conflict diamonds). Even though we are selling low cost jewelry, the site should be designed as if it selling world class luxury jewelry to the rich and wealthy. From a usability and aesthetics perspective we want to have an improved version of ice.com that looks more upscale. We are currently calling our company Diamonite, but the real name is secret until launch and will be updated near launch time.
