I have an existing PHP & MYSQL website that I need some changes to. The website has a user login area, and then displays entries from the database. The entries are submissions from forms submitted from other websites that we own. The user has the ability to filter the database entries by numerous methods (name, questions answered...etc). The user also has the ability to add notes, and mark certain milestones for each submission in the database (including dates) - The whole database is running slow, so I need it optimized. Has been running slower and slower. - On the backend (admin area) of the website, users can filter the results, however whenever they perform another function (such as creating a note) the filter is deleted and all submissions are shown. I need to the filter to "stick" until the user hits the "clear" button. - When questions are answered for each submission, I would like that cell of the database table to be colored based on the answer.
