Experis is recruiting for their client in northeast Cincinnati, Ohio for an IT Security Analyst on a 3 month right-to-hire basis. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED: Strong focus in application security and the development lifecycle is required. Strong written and oral communication skills required. Prior security and programming experience required. This consultant will analyze Information Security related threats and exploits as they pertain to the clients application environment. Work independently to apply technical skills and expertise to business and/or technical projects. Implements, coordinates, and directs security projects which provide Information Security services to users and customers. Responsible for analyzing data from an Information Security perspective. Make key determinations on a case by case basis as to the severity, threat and scope of any given security related event. Work actively with Application Developers, Security Engineers and others to increase the scope and effectiveness of tools in place. Make recommendations for enhancements to existing security tools and practices, as well as for new security tools and practices. Function as a liaison with staff to determine project requirements, goals, implementation schedules etc. as it relates to security. Assist in developing corresponding security controls and procedures. Aid in the maintaining of the clients security systems software. Keep current with industry trends and technological innovations and make recommendations to more senior staff members on relevant programs or systems. Educate immediate teammates on security trends, tips and techniques. Work with internal customers and stakeholders outside of the Information Security team to make recommendations on implementation of application security tools, assessments, settings and policies. Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
