Our client's locally based marketing experts offer a broad network of local marketing solutions including online, mobile and print search solutions, and major search engines. Based in Santa Clara, we are looking for a Front End Software Engineer with the following Skills: Extensive experience coding semantic HTML and CSS from Photoshop designs. Proficiency coding client-side interactive functionality using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with an emphasis on optimized performance and scalability. Experience using JS frameworks, especially jQuery, as well as integrating, maintaining, and extending plugins. Experience working in with an MVC framework or templating system. Experience with product development life-cycle of several successfully launched web and/or software applications. Experience working on enterprise level web properties as a member of a team in an Agile environment. Knowledge and use of Firebug and YSlow or other web developer tools to analyze web pages. Experience with Version Control Systems, such as Subversion, Microsoft Vision Sourcesafe, and CVS is highly preferred. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Responsibilities utilizing your expertise mentioned above: Develop and maintain HTML/CSS components that are modular and extensible. Incorporate progressive enhancement and feature support for cross-browser compatibility. Integrate HTML/CSS into an established MVC framework. Work closely with an Agile team of Product Managers, QA Engineers, Designers, and fellow Software Developers to build consumer and internal websites. Handle multiple projects simultaneously and make appropriate technical decisions based on experience and context.
