Providing designers with examples helps them identify the style and aesthetic you like. Values to communicate Feminine Masculine Young Mature Luxury Economical Modern Classic Playful Serious Loud Quiet Simple Complex Subtle Obvious Color preferences No specific colors in mind. Favorites: blue, light green, purpose, and black. Wary about orange and yellow. To be used on Print (Business cards, letterheads, brochures etc) Online (Website, online advertising, banner ads etc) Notes My business is about educating the youth of america. I want something catchy to appeal to them. I'd rather have something a little out there than have something plain than a stack of books, or a bulb. I want the incorporation of anything to be part of the logo, rather than a separate entity. Think Hip, elegant, excellence, and a little showy when your making your designs. I'm open to anything except the ordinary. The problem I have had with most logos is they are simply too plain. Please keep this in mind. You are in no way limited to the above uses for a logo. I was not very impressed by the above. I have also had sketches from designers all which were unimpressive. Note about sample logos to help you understand style: 1.looking at the sample swan song and eye institute I like the use of shapes incorporated into the logo itself that sends a clear yet artistic message about the companies goals. The same is for squeeze and eco plan 2. I also like the smoother font used in squeeze and retweet. One that is smooth as well as clear. Looks more modern though. I dont want an old looking typography If you have questions I will answer them very fast, and am good about communicating with designers.
