Title: Epic Certified Cadence/Prelude builder * Ambulatory Application* Location: Hauppauge, NY Duration: 6-12 Months Contract OR Full Time (Either One) * Epic Certified candidates only *Epic Community Connect deployment to 200+ practices * Ambulatory Application* This position performs Epic Cadence and/or Prelude builds on Community Connect project for our client's hospital affiliate practices. This position requires the ability to take direction as well as work independently to complete project tasks, including the following tasks as part of a clinical systems implementation: building system components, testing, documentation of work flows and other project information. Responsibilities: Collect workflow and other pertinent information from clients Develop current and future state workflows of clinical practices Populate designated databases during the system build Prioritize and implement changes requested for the system Thoroughly review and test each new release Communicate changes to Epic before users are permitted to access the new release Manage assigned tasks and anticipate ongoing work Build support and/or Go-live support Regularly attend meetings for those application teams associated with the areas of responsibility Provide 'at the elbow' support for Go-live Requirements: Epic Cadence/Prelude Certified Knowledgeable in all aspects and types of clinical build; implementation and support Experience with Interfaces and Labs is helpful. Minimum of three (3) years Healthcare Information Technology experience Strong interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills Strong support of the organization’s goals and objectives for implementing Epic. Flexibility (depending on changes made before go-live, trainers may need to update and communicate changes to the curriculum to end-users) Preferred Job Qualifications: 1 to 2 years experience in Information Technology/Computer Science, a clinical health care discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience 1 to 2 years experience in a health care environment 1 to 2 years experience with the Epic clinical system software or other clinical systems Thanks & Regards, Manish Jain OKAYA Inc.
