Our client, a Philadelphia area corporation seeks a Netwiork Engineer with Cisco Voice and Video experience for a 4 month project...Working remotely is possible. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Bachelors in electronics engineering, computer science or equivalent work experience. 2. Minimum 5+ years of experience in Cisco visual collaboration infrastructure field. 3. Minimum 5+ years hands-on system engineer experience. 4. Minimum 5+ years of research development experience in enterprise or industry solution interrelated with visual communication and unified communication, is the technical leader of enterprise integrated solution. 5. CCNP-Voice and CCIE Cisco certifications are required. 6. Polycom/Tandberg/Cisco Certified Engineer. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Work closely with solution architect team to understand end user requirements and engineer appropriate deployments of Cisco TelePresence Video collaboration platforms. 2. Self-starter who can assist and own implementations of Enterprise Cisco TelePresence Video collaboration platforms. 3. Demonstrate strong collaboration and problem solving abilities; teamwork with SA and networking peers. 4. Focus on consistently improving performance, quality and maintainability of collaboration platforms. 5. Work closely with Collaboration Developers and Architects to build new software systems/components, maintain existing code and troubleshoot issues in development, QA and production. 6. Development of concise and clear technical systems documentation. 7. Support all phases of project lifecycle and assist operations team for production support. 8.Create test plans for testing solutions in the firms lab and at the customer. 9. Analyze customer networks to discern unified collaborations requirements. 10. Research technical issues involving the network and unified collaborations equipment. 11. Provide support for ad hoc and one-of-a-kind projects. 12. Work with manufactures and vendors on the current and future technologies and products. Be able to select applicable technologies and products to present to the clients.
