Well established (16 years) web company looking for a JR PHP CSS developer. Duties and Responsibilities: o Collaborate with the software development and creative design teams to create efficient, imaginative and sophisticated solutions for front-end software feature requests. o Develop high-quality code following established development processes. o Provide informed, innovative recommendations regarding the use of JSP/HTML/CSS/PHP and Javascript to meet a variety of business needs. o Assess the technical feasibility of proposed functional designs. o Estimate the time needed to complete development phase of projects o Keep abreast of the latest developments in Internet technologies. o Gather requirements, design, code and test independently as well as work jointly with the team Minimum Qualifications: o BS/MS in CS/CE or equivalent work experience o 2+ years of experience with PHP on Linux, Apache, MySQL environments (LAMP) o Good web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery. HTTP) Skills o Good knowledge of (PHP and Object Oriented Design, SQL) o Additional desired skills: JSON/XML; Smarty and Perl o Proficiency in working and developing on Linux o Must be a team player & a focused problem-solver
