Industry Internet Description This posting is for a character illustration. We want to bring a character to life based on our ideas and thoughts. We want to create an illustration of a character who is a "monk". Think of him as modern living Buddha. The design should be able to "wow" and "inspire" people when they see it and people should love it (It is subjective, but there are things when you see them you just like them as wow/cool). The character design needs to be iconic, inspiring & peaceful, It needs be modern but simplistic. It needs to be cute, artistic & creative. Please take some inspiration from various buddha's image/arts/paintings, buddha's face, meditating monks, sitting under tree, images of zen art and some iconic characters in world who are very simple but have a special identity. It is plain white, in 3d, with very few facial/body features, but cute and you are able to turn him/her into anything - http://www.justfunonly.com/amazing/ I am also attaching some images of characters in various activities for you to get some more ideas. We want to give him an identity by face - so that if someone sees only the face then they will recognize who this is. If they see his body (or robe) then they recognize who this is. If he is doing some other activity then it should be recognizable. Most important illustration of this character is sitting under a tree and meditating pose (lotus position) with eyes closed and fingers in meditating style (connecting thumb and first finger) or with both hands/palms on his lap one over another. We would like his front image, back image, side image, top image, standing, sitting, resting, praying (with palms together), bowing, walking, and studying. If you would like then you can have him wear a robe and in terms of colors, we would like Navy Blue + White color Robe. (Or you can choose your combination as you see best and show us) Do not create a funny or laughing cartoon. Don't make him very serious or scary. He is not fat, he is slim, well built, long hands, long height. It is a monk/buddha like character and need to portray peaceful and inspirational image. Make it cute and modern. We are open towards abstract images with very little facial or body features. We would like a simple, unique, creative and minimalistic design. If you can make it simple enough for others to draw it on a paper or replicate it in digital world using basic photoshop skills then it will be great. (like Alien attached here) Design should be original and we will own the copyright. We will need vector file so that we can manage different format/size of images.
