Our client is currently seeking a Software QA Analyst. Main Duties: Evaluate and test new or modified software programs and software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines Write, revise, and verify quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to ascertain quality of software Review new or modified programs including documentation, diagrams, and flowcharts to determine if programs will perform according to user requests and conform to guidelines You may review computer operating logs to identify program processing errors Test programs for validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to establishment standards You may identify differences between establishment standards and user applications and suggest modifications to conform to standards You may conduct compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs. Education: A 4-year Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience Experience: 3+ years of experience in software and/or program testing Knowledge / Skills: Working knowledge in testing and evaluating performance of programs, applications, and software NOTE: A successful candidate must have automated testing experience and solid SQL skills
