We are looking for a self-driven, junior-level QA Analystfor our offices in Roswell. Our ideal candidate is currently a Jr. Business Analyst, QA Analyst or Software Developer looking to grow into a Sr. Business Analyst, QA or Project Manager role. This is an exciting contract opportunity to work with a stable company to create our next generation of web-based, media services applications. A successful candidate should be able to work intimately with management, a small development team and have a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. You also need to be highly motivated and enjoy working with others in a professional, courteous manner. The key job duties and responsibilities include: Working with management to understand business goals & translating those into high-level requirements Working with the development team and domain experts to generate detailed requirements, use cases, test cases/plans and UI concepts Estimating testing efforts and evaluating application and scope impact in reaction to changes in requirements Testing the software and managing the defect tracking process Managing the project plan which will include tracking deliveries of new development, defects and maintenance tasks The individual we are seeking will possess the following: Required Skills One to two years of experience as a Business Analyst/QA Tester Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills Strong process flow, sequence and activity diagrams knowledge Excellent writing and communication skills Web application project experience Understanding of databases and web applications Bachelor's degree Desired Skills Visual Studio Test Professional Visual Studio Team System/ALM Test automation experience UI Design experience ASP.NET development experience Agile-based project experience Some project management experience Multi-media application project experience UML experience Visio experience This is a contractposition with the assignment estimated to last 6-18 months .
