Leading Telecommunications Organisation Good Contract Rates CBD Location Summary Of the Role: This SharePoint 2010 Developer role will play a key role in contributing to the development, support and migration of this organisations platform . The role will work alongside some of the best professionals in the SharePoint, IT and Telecommunications industries. It will be an initial 6 month contract based in the CBD or the opportunity to go Permanent. Your responsibilities will include: Work as part of a team committed to the development, implementation and support of the SharePoint 2010 platform; Design, develop, and test custom and out-of-the-box solutions within the SharePoint 2010 platform; Understand and participate in business and functional requirements to ensure appropriate usage of SharePoint in the delivery of that business value; Monitor innovation and emerging trends and technical advances in the use of SharePoint and related technologies to advise implement and exploit as appropriate; Interface with Microsoft to ensure all new development releases / patches are applied to the platform What you will need: Commercial experience in a SharePoint Developer position with SharePoint 2010; Commercial experience in Microsoft .NET 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 C# and ASP.Net; Expert knowledge of all out-of-the-box, end-user SharePoint functionality Experience in SQL Server 2005/2008 and TSQL; Experience in General Web Technology (HTML Java Script etc); Experience working with Team foundation server and performing release management.
