PMO Reporting & Planning Lead (SAP Implementation)
PMO Reporting & Planning Lead London (with expected 20% travel) 12 Month Fixed-Term-Contract Our client, a leading international natural resources group, currently have an opening for a PMO Reporting and Planning Lead. This is a very senior position and requires someone with extensive experience and detailed expertise in planning, resourcing and cost control. In additon, you must have experience of a global SAP implementation project. The main purpose of the role is to coordinate and collate key data and facts of the programme. You will strive to gain excellent understanding of all planning, resourcing and costing for this programme and will handle all aspects of the programme controls including Risks and Issues. You will primarily be based in London but please be aware that the is an element of travel. This is expected to be about 20% but could be as much as 40%. Key Accountabilities: *Planning *Resource Model and Plan *Programme Cost Model: Using inputs of developed plans and resource models identify full programme costs *PMO tools and applications: Select, develop and use the necessary tools to support the PMO controls and activities *Programme Frameworks: Determine and document all relevant Programme frameworks *Programme Management Handbook: Handbook will identify all required controls between Strategic and Local PM's necessary for effective progress reporting. Strategic PMO will develop a Reporting Control Dashboard for full Programme control and reporting requirements of all identified stakeholders. *Risk & Issue Management: A framework will be established and used for the identification, monitoring, resolution and if necessary escalation of high level risks and issues that could impact delivery of Programme Arrow. Essential Skills / Experience: *Strong analytical and problem solving skills. *Ability to set priorities, take initiative, complete work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines. *Accurate and precise. *Knowledge of SAP implementations is absolutely essential. *Excellent spoken and written English. Other languages an advantage, particularly Russian. *Excellent interpersonal, diplomatic and communication skills with ability to interact constantly in an international and multi-cultural environment. *Incumbent will have excellent organisation and planning skills and qualities. *Fully conversant with MS Project MS Excel and MS Sharepoint applications. *Finance / accounting background / qualifications would be benficial. *Good education and strong experience in a similar role.
