Exciting graduate Junior Research Executive position in a dynamic healthcare market research agency
Aequus Research We are looking for recently qualified graduates interested in a career in pharmaceutical market research. We are a small boutique agency based in South West London, conducting research on a global scale across a wide range of therapeutic areas. Working with them will give you the opportunity to learn not only about healthcare research techniques but also about the healthcare pharmaceutical industry itself. What we are looking for: We are looking for Junior Researchers to join us during September 2012 on a two month contract with a view to awarding a permanent contract. We are open to applicants with any degree who show the following skills and personal attributes: • You will have strong communication skills, both written and oral, demonstrating enthusiasm and conviction in your work • You'll need to be proactive and demonstrate initiative, and be able to anticipate problems and propose effective solutions • You will be a quick learner able to take ideas on board, adapt them and run with them • You will be able to work as part of a team and on your own, with the ability to take on a number of tasks simultaneously without compromising quality • You'll be a detail-oriented person with strong analytical skills and attention to detail • You’ll have an inquisitive nature and a passion for finding out the ‘why?’ • You'll be able to generate creative ideas and solutions to address the needs of both our clients and Aequus and effectively communicate these to the team • English is essential and fluency in other languages will be an advantage • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint • A minimum 2.1 qualification in a biological or social science will be highly desirable • Relevant work experience will be an asset Job description: No two days at Aequus are the same, but your core role will entail: • Putting together first drafts of materials such as questionnaires • Close liaison with Aequus’ field department to ensure timelines are met and escalating potential timing conflicts • Attending fieldwork where necessary with the goal of conducting interviews • Assist with the analysis and interpretation of the data to ensure that the client hears what has been said • Contributing in discussions as to what the data means for the client and their business • Prepare first draft of section of presentation deliverables • Preparing relevant documents for client presentations • Taking ownership of keeping the company and clients up to date in developments in an agreed therapy area • Attending meetings with clients as necessary to fully un Keywords: PR, Marketing, Advertising
