Modis is on the market with an excellent opportunity for junior to mid-level developers in the Washington, DC area! Our office works with a local client that specializes in business process management, case management, workflow, database and mission critical software applications to commercial, Federal, and municipal customers for 15 years and running! This organization is currently involved in a project with the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command and in need of mid-level .NET developers to work on application design, execution, and enhancement. The opportunity is ideally a 6 month contract-to-hire agreement, but direct-hire is also an option! **This position requires that candidates must meet the eligibility to obtain a Secret level clearance!** Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor,'(tm)s Degree in Computer Science or related field - 5+ years programming experience in .NET Framework 3.5 or 4.0 - Exposure to the following technologies will be helpful: C#, Visual Basic, Visual Studio, .NET 2010, SQL Server 2005 or 2008, and ASP - Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills - Ability to work with a programming team to gain experience and knowledge - Aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving - SQL or Oracle database experience a plus. - Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
