Currently data on client's investment portfolios sits in excel spreadsheets. The spreadsheets show the dividends or interest generated per share or cash investment, the income paid and gross income, the income generated after fees/costs and tax and as a percentage of total funds invested. A summary of the pertinent information is then summarized on one page which provides a client with a one page overview of portfolio performance. As the number of clients is growing, the database is becoming cumbersome to manage, takes time to input data and time to generate the reports for clients. Ideally, I would like a database which enables me to input data simply and produce the reports that are tailored made to what my clients want. The database will probably grow to about 200 clients and each client portfolio is likely to have different numbers of entries. Keywords: Database Development
