Our client is currently seeking a Systems Engineer. The ideal candidate will be part of a highly leveraged global network security team and must have a strong technical foundation in networking and network security, defense in depth. The qualified candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with global partners. The candidate must also be able to handle multiple client facing projects. Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of experience with one or more of the following: Cisco ASA, FWSM, Juniper, Checkpoint firewalls, or Open Source Network load balancing (3DNS, BIG IP, GTM, and LTM) Web Proxy (BlueCoat or IronPort) IP network and routing along with packet analysis IDS/IPS, HTTP, TCP, and DNS Defense to include in-depth security Vulnerability management and remediation Wireless network security Required Functional Skills: Ability to work independently as well as with a team Excellent analysis, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills Risk versus reward analysis Certifications: CISSP and/or CCNA is preferred; but we will consider candidates with relevant experience
