Project Manager (Data Warehouse) Rensselaer, NY Trigyn's Direct Government Client has a long term contract assignment (12 Months) for a Project Manager in Rensselaer, NY. Description: Trigyn's Direct Government Client is seeking a highly experienced and professional Project Manager to oversee all its Data Warehouse functioning. The individual we are seeking must be highly experienced in Data Warehouse methodologies and have proven ability to lead a large team. This individual must also be highly adept in creating and maintaining project schedules and project plans and communicating status reports to management at all levels. Those not meeting these qualifications will not be considered. Mandatory Requirements: Note: candidates who do not meet all mandatory requirements will not be considered for further evaluation. Bachelors Degree. A minimum of four years project management experience in utilizing a project management methodology in an information technology environment. Three years of additional experience working on Information Technology projects with supervisory responsibility of at least one component of a system development life cycle. Two years of experience in a manager role on a complex Information Technology project. Desirable Experience: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Superior knowledge of the English language and elevated ability to understand and be understood. Ten +(10+) years experience in the area of Information technology with proven leadership and management abilities With 5+ of those years in Data Warehouse project management / technical lead position, With demonstrated enterprise level project successes. Five + (5+) years experience with N-tiered data warehousing environments, Demonstrated ability to handle multiple data mart development efforts at one time, Establishing data warehousing standard practices, Introducing and guiding the implementation new technologies in a Data Warehouse environment such as BizTalk Five + (5+) years experience with managing staff by assigning tasks & monitoring their performance and interactions with other groups, Preparing and maintaining project schedules, Preparing and maintaining project plans, Reporting in a clear concise manner that is tailor made to the audiences technical acumen. Five + (5+) years experience developing data warehousing solutions in an Oracle environment preferably utilizing Oracle Warehouse Builder.
