TEKsystems is looking for a Information Security Analyst that will support a large financial services company in San Diego. The Security Analyst will be primarily responsible for daily operation and ongoing maintenance of enterprise security platforms. This person should come from a background that exposed them to a high volume, mission critical environment. This person should also have experience in financial services or a similar business. Other duties will include: -Performing web application penetration testing and remediation management -Operation and optimization of vulnerability management platform -Operation and optimization of web content management platform -Operation and optimization of intrusion detection and network forensics platforms -Data/log analysis of disparate security tools -Incident response -Assess and recommend new technologies to align with business objectives Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years information security experience -CISSP, GIAC or CISM certifications highly desired -Advanced knowledge of Windows, Unix, Linux operating systems -Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, common protocols services and related security issues (SMTP, DNS, TCP/IP, 801.1x, SSL) -Experience with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing -Experience working in a large corporate environments, familiarity with audit processes, familiarity with SAS-70, SEC, NASD regulations as they relate to information security and compliance.
