Lead Business Analyst - Infrastructure
Our Fortune 500 client in Montvale, NJ seeks a Lead Infrastructure Business Analyst for a minimum 3 month contract with extensions highly likely. Looking for someone who has led a team of several BA's, who can oversee their work and assignments. Types of projects could include upgrading servers, data center moves, changes, proxy projects, etc. - Understands Infrastructure and supporting process to provide innovative recommendations on process efficiencies and solutions. - Works with the BRMs and business Stakeholders to gain an understanding of the current processes and supporting technologies - Creates business cases and documentation for requested efforts to enable the BRMs and business leaders to prioritize and positions requests appropriately. - Works closely with the BRMs,Client, PMO and QA teams to align BAs with the business and projects based on skill set and experience to achieve the best fit - Drives the creation of requirements, process flows and data definitions business intelligence/analysis needs for input into the business portfolio and technology projects - Reconciles requirements, process flows and data business intelligence/analysis needs with technology, architecture, risk management, industry standards and Firm objectives - Makes certain that all deliverables are aligned with both the short and long term business objectives - Participates in the delivery of analysis, and technology where applicable, across the full product life cycle - Verifies technical efforts and project execution are in adherence to all requirements, process flows and data business intelligence / analysis needs throughout the various phases of the project lifecycle - Provides guidance and mentoring to BAs working in the portfolio on delivery of BA services - Conducts document reviews of all artifacts for the portfolio - Influence the portfolio roadmap, product development priorities, features and functionality - Comprehension of the business portfolio's objectives, challenges, strategic direction and technologies by working with stakeholders and the BRMs - Act as the client advocate to ensure a high quality of service from IT Resource planning for projects that are in the pipeline to meet the demand Qualifications: - Broad knowledge of the client area functions and applications, and an in-depth knowledge of current technologies - Experience working on Infrastructure projects - Detail-oriented and thorough - Effective time management skills, excellent technical writing and editing skills, strong verbal communication skills - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in MIS, Computer Science, or a related discipline with at six years of diverse work experience in IT, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience - Ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and other team members - Skilled in organizing information based on reviewing meeting notes, specifications, interviewing clients, architects and developers - Ability to adapt and work within the prescribed editorial style and format conventions
