Port simple Windows User Manuals front end to iOS App (Dual - iPhone & iPad)
Today, we have a "User Manuals" and "System Tools" CD that we distribute. This is a very simple .NET front end on top of a basic file structure. The project is to "Port" this to iOS. The user interface on this is envisioned with something similar to Dropbox. The main screen when entering the app will have the company logo and background along with the following options: "Read User Manuals and Install Guides" "Explore Application Notes" "Review Product Data Sheets" "View Product Drawings and Mounting Options" "Complete Path Study Forms" When selecting one of these options, some descriptive text will be displayed along with additional menu type options with a "Back" button on the top. These menus would go through product families then individual products / documentation underneath those. The application should auto-generate these menus based on the files loaded where possible. Any file, pdf, work, excel, step shall have the option to email the file. When run on iPad app should have file view on the left and document on the right (Ex Mail, Dropbox) when in landscape and full page view similar to iPhone when in "normal" orientation. Not part of this project, possible follow-ons with more significant functionality: - Phase 2: Customer Support & Path Study request forms filled out in the application - Phase 3: Path Study coordinated are save using GPS and/or locations selected via Map API. Coords for path Study (2-100s) are displayed in a Map view as pins at the coordinate with additional information presented when the location (pin) is selected. One iteration with functional prototype is expected, then feedback and fixes are expected as part of project cost. Dropbox location with the Windows apps: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/mulqdjpb4h0zjys/6liEbIx7Kr Ignore any Audio, Video, transitions or Software as they are not part of the iOS app. The full source code as well as a dev loaded App are required as the deliverables. Reference Apps that show similar functionality to Phase 1, 2 or 3 will be considered when selecting the winning bid.
