Prototype integration of the Voip Client Jitsi into an existing Java application
We consider integrating the VoIP and chat client Jitsi into an existing desktop application based on Java JDK 6 and Swing. Jitsi is open source, LGPL licensed and also plain Java and Swing. Jitsi is available for download from http://jitsi.org/ Before a production integration attempt, we would like to do a prototype integration of Jitsi to study the feasibility of such a migration. We look for an Jitsi and/or Java Swing expert willing to do a prototype integration for us. The goal is to a) run Jitsi within our Java desktop application and have Jitsi and its controls, menus and panels accessible within a window of our desktop application b) as an extension to the prototype, have Jitsi store a chat and/or VoIP call recording using the Jitis provided internal api and then have our application store that recording using our applications upload function. We look forward to experts experienced and willing to develop such a prototype in a reasonable short time period. One of our expert developers would assist you with regard to questions about our Java Desktop application and its implementation details. Please don't hesitate to ask questions if you have any. Please provide an initial estimate for the expected effort and project delivery time with your bid. Depending on results, we would be interested to make you part of our development long term with a focus on Jitsi and other regular Java development tasks. Thanks, Peter
